Here in Sweden, setting up a beacon is OK for any licensed ham without special permit (including on 6 m, a general ham band in Sweden from 2009-01-29) as this activity is de-regulated by the authorities. It is however advisable to co-ordinate frequencies with SSA (Sveriges Sändare Amatörer), our national association.

This list also contains neighboring beacons that are possible to hear in Stockholm during normal conditions with reasonable antennas for this purpose.
