Additional info: This is originally a 148 GTL-DX Mk2, professionally modified by
"John Nugent" (JenTec). It has a new front panel with a 5-digit
frequency counter. Other new features include scan function, repeater
shift, variable output power up to 40 W, expanded frequency coverage
and more. About 500 were modified. John passed away in 1997.
